We are looking for an enthusiastic “Method Developer” to join our team, which is passionate about targeted quantitative methods using chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry. The methods you will develop are essential for Leachables testing of Drug Products.
Your responsibilities:
· Optimizing and testing analytical methods (HS-GC/MS, GC/MS, GC-MS/MS and/or LC-MS/MS) to quantify levels at a specified concentration;
· Designing and testing sample preparation procedures such as liquid/liquid extractions using relevant internal standards;
· Documenting your lab work, results and conclusions;
· Interpreting analytical results;
· Investigating and troubleshooting analytical issues.
Method Development is a team effort involving both lab technicians and project managers. Together, we aim to deliver quantitative analytical methods of high scientific quality. As a team, we also value knowledge sharing and ensure clear documentation and effective communication with the colleagues responsible for Method Validation.
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field or equivalent through experience;
You have knowledge of organic chemistry;
You have hands-on experience with HS-GC/MS, GC/MS, GC-MS/MS, and/or LC-MS/MS;
You have experience with sample preparation (preferably different extraction techniques);
You have experience with method development;
You have good communication skills;
You are eager to learn and critical;
You have an active, independent work attitude that is both quality-oriented and solution-oriented;
You are intrinsically motivated and enjoy working with others;
Experience in developing quantitative methods is a major asset;
Experience in a quality environment is a plus, but not decisive.
